Neomar Semprún-Hernández

Biologist. MSc. Immunology

Hernández is a scientist in the Neuroimmune Gastro Metabolism research line of new treatments in Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), Immunology & infectious diseases. As a Science and Health Coach for parents of children with ASD, Hernández promotes the conscious consumption of food, a healthy diet with individual biomedical and immunomodulatory intervention per patient based on scientific evidence. Hernández has years of experience as an immunologist and as an executive director of the Immunology Unit “Prof. Nola Montiel”. He is also a University professor and a junior researchers’ mentor. Hernández’s scientific publications have captured global attention from international lecturers and reviewer members in scientific journals.

Damaris Cortés-Figueroa

Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)

Damaris Cortés Figueroa earned her Master of Science in Psychology from University of Phoenix in July 2013, she also earned her master’s in counseling program from Liberty University. Damaris completed her minor in Associate of Arts in Human Services Management/Social Work. In 2014, Damaris completed the National Counselor Certification (NCC). The various populations and situations she has treated are emotional issues, trauma, anxiety, depression, grief work, PTSD, ADHD, and parenting training, among others. Damaris works as an outpatient/school-based counselor, providing services to both children and adults. Some of the issues she is currently address include: understanding and managing anxiety, defiant behaviors, bipolar disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), as well as navigating a new mental health and/or physical health diagnosis. Her goal is to guide them to identify their strengths and to do what they love.
