The mission of Mejorando Tu Salud Día A Día is to provide health services adapted to the needs and demands of our patients, supported by our human capital, excellence in care and the search for cutting-edge technology, all based on the principles of natural medicine, in the prevention of diseases and in the management of complementary, more humane and affective therapeutics. Mejorando Tu Salud Día A Día was inaugurated in 2021. The philosophy of this practice is to give personalized and quality attention to patients, always safeguarding their integrity. Through years of experiences, I have understood that drugs do not cure any pathology, but on the contrary, assert said pathologies.

My name is Francisco Fernández I was born in Caracas (Venezuela) Capital Federal District, since I was little I always liked sports so since I was little I began to study martial arts and seeing the multiple lessons that were produced in training and tournaments I decided to enter the faculty of health science from the central university of Venezuela, once back I start working in various hospitals in the country, first in Caracas and then in the interior of the country Aragua where I work in the general hospital of Maracay in emergency, calicanto clinic in the health prevention unit in diabetic patients, and in the ambulances of sermedica medical services for life.

Later I moved to Spain where I continue my work in various hospitals and where I do a specialty in oncology and palliative care at the University of Alcalá de Henares, and various training in various health areas, and then I move to Brussels where I work in various places such as a psychiatric and alcoholism center, nursing homes, a general hospital and then a specialized oncology hospital.

Given the deficiency of drugs, I decided to undertake studies in the area of ​​naturopathy and homeopathy through the Miguel de Cervantes University and the Euronova Institute, as well as training in active cellular nutritional medicine where I did a master’s degree in this specialty, which I love. and I see that with Integrative Medicine we can help many people.

Neomar Semprún-Hernández

Neomar Semprún-Hernández LPC

Professor Neomar is a Biologist – Immunologist, scientist based on scientific evidence with 16 years of experience in the investigation of immunoneurogastrometabolism and new treatments in the management of Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), complemented with research in Immunomycology and Infectious Diseases. He is an evidence-based health advisor for parents of children with ASD and any pathology associated with inflammation. He promotes the consumption of an immunomodulatory diet and the use of immunomodulators that he elaborates, together with his team, in an individualized way for each counselee and patient. He was a University Professor in several Latin American countries where he actively collaborated as a mentor to junior researchers. He is a member of International Scientific Societies holding leadership positions. He is a reviewer for scientific journals, an author of scientific publications, and is a guest lecturer on the comprehensive bio-approach of ASDs. In addition, he is an avid reader, athlete and entertaining conversationalist on history topics.

Currently he is the Executive Director (CEO) of the Immunology Unit “Professor Nola Montiel” where, together with his team, they carry out medical, nutritional, genetic and scientific networking consultations; They give Master workshops and courses for parents and professionals and produce evidence that he publishes periodically.

Damaris Cortés-Figueroa

Damaris Cortes-Figueroa LPC, MS/P, NCC

Damaris Cortés-Figueroa speaks three (3) languages: English, Spanish, and American Sign Language (ASL). Damaris was born in Puerto Rico and moved to the United States when she was 18 years old. Damaris loves to listen and talk to people. Her goal is to guide them to identify their strengths and do what they love. She also helps people identify their weaknesses and encourages them to see the positive from the negative.

Qualifications and Background
Damaris Cortés Figueroa earned her Master of Science in Psychology from the University of Phoenix in July 2013, she also earned her Master of Science in the Liberty University counseling program. Damaris graduated Magna Cum Laude from both programs. Damaris also earned her BA in Psychology from the University of Phoenix in 2011, from which she graduated with a 3.9 GPA. In 2009, she completed her Arts fellowship in Human Services Management / Social Work. In 2014, Damaris completed the National Counselor Certification (NCC).

During her graduate program, she completed a six-year internship at Access Family Services in Asheville, North Carolina. She there she worked with children and adults of all ages. She provided individual and family therapy to clients, regardless of gender, race, or socioeconomic status. Her clients were children (ages 2 and up), teens, adults, couples, and families. The various populations and situations she has dealt with are emotional issues, trauma, anxiety, depression, grief work, PTSD, ADHD, and parenting training, among others.

She provided individual therapy to adults in the community with various mental health diagnoses, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and personality disorders. She also co-facilitated a weekly children’s mental health group focusing on the Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), and Domestic Violence groups. As an LPCA, she has worked with youth providing intensive in-home services and as an outpatient therapist for both children and adults.

Currently, Damaris has completed more than four thousand five hundred (4,500) hours of supervised counseling / psychotherapy for her Licensed Professional Counselor (LCMHC) / Licensed. Damaris works as an outpatient / school counselor, serving both children and adults. Some of the issues he is currently addressing include: understanding and managing anxiety, challenging behaviors, bipolar disorder, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), as well as navigating new mental health and / or physical health. diagnosis. She also works with clients who have experienced or are experiencing divorce, bereavement, substance abuse, and addiction and depression.

Damaris’s theoretical orientation is inclusive. She is strongly influenced by cognitive-behavioral, dialectical-behavioral, and person-centered and solution-centered approaches to counseling. She seeks a safe, ethical, and consistent relationship with her clients as she challenges the client to observe the ways the client’s thinking impacts her world. Damaris’ goal is to help her clients gain autonomy and independence in their daily lives while working hard to achieve their identified goals.

Damaris’ areas of competence include: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Techniques, Triple P, Psychoeducation, Play Therapy, Breathing Techniques, Grounding Techniques, and Relationship Enhancement.
